Welcome to MusicMixPros formally SoundBurst Studios. I am Drew Puzia the owner and the Audio Mix Engineer. I have an extensive audio mixing and mastering background originating from the renowned Berklee College of Music in Boston, Mass. Recently I moved MusicMixPros to the beautiful Lake Chapala area of Mexico. With the lower cost of living in Mexico, I can now offer the same top professional quality mixing and mastering services at a fraction of the rates I used to charge in Las Vegas, Nevada!
My Story
Music has alway been my life! I started out as a songwriter/guitarist performing in hard rock bands in the Los Angeles area during the early 80’s. I then moved to music composition in the 90’s producing a rock opera which was performed live in Las Vegas, and a period piece dramatic full scale dark musical. However, I found my true passion working as an Audio Mix Engineer in Las Vegas at the start of the 2000’s and spanning well over two plus decades to the present. I am an award winning experienced Audio Mix Engineer who's obsessed with mixing music and creating the best sounding songs possible. I am always in constant search of the best music mixing gear on the planet!
When I first started mixing and mastering I would use huge racks of expensive outboard gear that required a lot of costly maintenance. Now my setup is much more efficient and effective. It is much more affordable to run a method called "mixing in the box" which is mixing inside a very high performance and well setup computer. These savings are passed on to my clients with the results that give them that big studio expensive sound at amazing rates!

I never use all of these for every song and sometimes I may grab another piece of gear for a specific need. But, all my Mastering projects run through this chain. I really don’t use a mixing chain since each mix project has so many different needs.
