Hi quality audio mixing and mastering

Here's How Our Online Mixing and Mastering Services Works

We prefer to hear your tracks before we accept payment, however if you would rather pay first that is acceptable as well through our online shop, we accept most credit cards, Apple Pay and PayPal.

Once payment is made, in a timely manor we will provide a professional fully mixed and mastered version of your song containing a few random intermittent security beeps placed throughout it.

Please do NOT send any tracks for mixing in the Mp3 format to us. For sending tracks any media transfer platform works, we prefer WeTransfer.  All tracks need the same starting point in the song. Only send us the tracks that you want in the song. We do not do vocal or instrument comping (picking best takes) for the song.

We will professionally mix and master your song to your liking. If needed, you have up to four mix revisions to get everything sounding exactly how you want it. The mixed and mastered version of your song will be delivered to you digitally in both Mp3 320 Kbps and WAV formats. Typically this takes about a week depending on our workload.

We are a work for hire and YOU THE ARTIST WILL ALWAYS KEEP 100% of ALL the rights to all your music, we are purely a mixing and mastering  service.  ALL OF OUR WORK IS 100% SATISFACTION GUARANTEED OR YOUR FULL MONEY BACK. You have nothing to lose

Please see our FAQs and Tips For Sending Audio Tracks Below

Two Easy Steps For Sending Us Your Songs

1. Bounce ALL the tracks into a SINGLE FOLDER that you want in the mix without any effects on them, unless it is an effect that you absolutely must have in the mix. If you do send a track with an effect on it such as reverb, please send the dry (non effect) version of that track as well.  Then Zip compress the single folder. Remember to only put in the folder the tracks that you want in the mix. We do not comp (select best takes) the tracks, we do not do last minute arrangement changes. To be clear, once the tracks are sent as an example, we will not make any arrangement changes without direct permission from you. Your song will be mixed with your original artistic vision in mind.

2. Upload the Zipped folder to musicmixpros@gmail.com.  You can use whichever file sharing service that you prefer, we have had great experiences with WeTransfer because there is no sign up, its free, It's fast, very secure, and real simple to use.

 Mixing Services For The Pros
FAQ
  • What Can I do to Best Prepare my Tracks For Your Mixing and Mastering Services?
Please, do not put any effects or automation on the tracks unless you really love it and want them permanantly in the mix. We will add the reverb, compression etc. as needed. If you must have a certain effect on a track please send the same track (dry) without the effect as well. Use WAV or AIFF formats, Mp3 tracks are NOT recommended and will be sent back. Please label ALL of the tracks so they can be easily found, and have ALL the tracks starting points the same for ALL the tracks. We do not edit for arrangement revisions. Each track needs to be completed and be exact to the songs original arrangement that is submitted. In general tracks with vocals, guitars, bass, brass, strings, winds, tambourine, shaker, all drum pieces (i.e. kick, snare, toms), and etc. should be recorded in mono, however we do at times receive those in stereo and it's not the end of world. Drum overheads, and drum rooms should be in stereo. All piano, synths, organs, or stems (stem ex: an entire drum kit mixed down to 2 tracks) should be sent in stereo as well. If sending a song to be mastered, send it in either a stereo WAV or AIFF format. Use the original sample and bit rate they were mixed at. Please, if possible, leave about 6-8 decibels below clipping if possible, NO clipping! Please send the tracks to either be mastered or mixed at a resolution of no lower than 44.1 kHz and a bit rate no lower than 16 in either WAV or AIFF formats. Most common that we receive is 48.1 kHz resolution at a bit rate of 24 in a WAV format.
  • What is the Best Sample Rate or Bit Rate to Send my Music, and What About Dither?"
Send songs for mastering or for mixing in WAV or AIFF files. For Mastering: send us the tracks in the sample rate and bit rate, (resolution) of the session that it was originally recorded with. Don't change the sample or bit rates from the original mix used in the song. Mp3 files are NOT accepted. Most people use 44.1 or 48 kHz resolution both at a 24 bit rate, floating 32 bit rate is fine as well. A 44.1 resolution at a 16 bit rate is the bare minimum. For Mixing: we recommend 48.1 kHz. or higher at a 24 bit rate. We do receive 44.1 kHz at both 16 and 24 bit rates at times, however more common and better is the higher resolution at 48.1 kHz and 24 bit rate. Please do not use Dither unless you are down sampling, there really is no need for you to down sample. This topic is somewhat debatable.
  • What is the Best Way to Send Guitar Tracks?
For acoustic guitar: Send the guitar tracks using properly placed microphone(s) as well as a DI track if you can. Please send it with no effects on it or send it with a dry (no effect) version of the track. Try keeping the levels low which is much better than clipping, you do not want clipping. For electric guitar: However you tracked the guitar will work. If it was a microphone(s) on a cabinet that will work fine. However if you could provide a DI track as well that is much better. Please send them with no effects on it or send it with a dry (no effect) version of the same track. Try keeping the levels low which is much better than clipping, you do not want clipping. We have a lot of fantastic, top of the line effects and simulators which we can use if needed and of course approved by the artist.
  • My Singer Has Several Great Vocal Takes, Will You Pick Out His Best Takes?
Sorry, but no it is up to the band or individual artist to decide on what takes need to be in the mix. Only send the tracks that you want in the song. Please send them without any clipping (better to be low levels than clipped) and without any effects on them. If there is an effect that absolutely must be in the mix than send it with the effect. We do not edit for arrangement changes. So if you decide AFTER sending us the tracks that want to extend the chorus in the song, and we started the mix, sorry it is too late.

  • How do I Zip Compress my Folder That Has the Tracks in it?
All of the bounced (exported) audio tracks must be in a single folder, then zip compress the folder for a much faster uploading time. The folder needs to be under 2 Gigs in size, in 99% of the time that is the case. If it is larger than 2 Gigs, simply make two smaller folders, then Zip compress and send them separately. For Mac: Right-Click folder then click Compress. For Windows: Right-click folder, point to Send to, and then click Compressed (zipped) folder.
  • Are There Any Particular Brands of Gear That You Prefer to Use?
The most important part of mixing is knowing what to listen for. However, there are certain brands of gear that do sound and just work great. Pairing those brands with the vibe of the mix is what it is all about! Some of Drew's personal favorites are UAD, CEDAR, LiquidSonics, Fabfilter, SPL, Weiss, Focal, Dynaudio, Neve, API, SSL, and Shadow Hills.
  • How Long Does it Take For a Mix and a Master?
Depending on our workload, generally about four to five days per song. If there are a lot of tracks and vocal tuning or extreme editing is needed it can take a few days longer.
  • What Types of Payments Do You Accept?
